The City of Englewood provides water to most residents from seven operational underground wells and two one-million gallon water towers. Englewood water has been fluoridated since 1973. Approved by the Ohio Board of Health and the Environmental Protection Agency, your water is continually tested for safety and good taste.
Water billing is based on consumption:
0 - 5,000 gallons -> $23.50
5,001 - 50,000 gallons -> $4.71 per thousand additional
Sewer service is also provided by the City of Englewood. It is billed based on usage.
1 - 5,000 gallons $22.73
5,001 - 50,000 gallons $4.54 per thousand additional
The rate for customers located outside of the City of Englewood is 150% of the rates shown above.
Please note that rates are subject to change and typically increase annually due to inflation and to fund needed capital improvements and infrastructure improvements.
There is no start-up fee for water and sewer service.
There is a $25 late payment fee for payments received after the due date.
A $35 turn-off/turn-on charge will be imposed if service is discontinued for non-payment.
Bills unpaid for more than 60 days are assessed against the property of the owner of record.
