Dedicated in the memory of Jason, aka Jake, Grossnickle, a resident of Englewood and a third generation Dayton police officer slain on duty in 1996, Jake Grossnickle Memorial Park is a haven for soccer enthusiasts. A playground is also located on the property. It is located on Heathcliff Drive behind Samaritan North Health Center and is home to Gunners FC Select Soccer. Additionally, it is the jump-off point for the Englewood Reserve Bikeway, a three-mile bike path that meanders along the scenic Stillwater River. Park your vehicle and hike, bike or rollerblade along this tranquil river corridor.
