NOTICE TO CUT NOXIOUS WEEDS AND/OR UNCONTROLLED GRASSES
Pursuant to Section 1454.04 of the Property Maintenance Code of the City of Englewood, notice is hereby made that overgrown vegetation, noxious weeds and/or grasses are growing uncontrolled on lands within the limits of the City. Notice is hereby made to any owner, lessee, agent or tenant having charge of any land upon which noxious weeds and/or grasses are uncontrollably growing that the same must be cut within five (5) days after this publication. In addition, such overgrown vegetation and/or weeds shall be cut every subsequent time the height exceeds eight (8) inches thereafter without further notice or publication in order to prevent spreading or maturing of weeds. Please note the city’s minimum cost to mow is $280 per occurrence. In the event the same is not paid within thirty (30) days after the mailing of the invoice, then such amount shall be certified to the County Auditor for collection the same as other taxes and assessments are collected.
